The building ensemble of the vocational college in the south of Geldern, which was completed in 2016, spreads out like a "polis".

Arranged on an elongated plot, the predominantly three-storey volumes have a linear orientation.  In the commercially characterised area on the outskirts of the city, the ensemble is an explicit reference to the architectural language of early modernist industrial buildings.

Starting from the access core, the complex is divided into two wings, each with different uses. The floor plans are designed to be flexible in order to accommodate future changes of use as far as possible. Certain functions were conceived as structural accents: the detached volume with assembly hall and library, a self-study centre and the educational centre, the glass building of the canteen or the monolithic building of the district archive.

Water zones, green meadow areas and various vegetation zones provide the opportunity to relax.
