On an area totalling approx. 17,000 sqm gross floor area, living space will be provided for students, apprentices and trainees, but also for commuters, second-home seekers, young professionals and those only working temporarily in Hamburg.

The 12-storey building is designed as a KfW Efficiency House 70 in accordance with EnEV 2009 and the rear-ventilated façade section on Schultzweg is particularly noteworthy. This was designed as a perforated façade with large-format, light-coloured fibre cement panels and window elements with open and closed areas made of aluminium panels.

The flats consist of a multifunctional living and sleeping area including an integrated kitchenette and a 3 square metre bathroom cell. The living space concept not only provides the small-scale living space that is urgently needed in Hamburg, it is also a striking attraction in terms of external perception and design, making it an all-round successful and trend-setting project.
