The project is divided into two construction phases and combines a sustainably revitalised existing building with high-quality new buildings. The heights and structures of the surrounding buildings are incorporated and complemented by contemporary staggered storeys.

The building at Klosterstrasse 62 was constructed in 1967 as a reinforced concrete skeleton structure and will be deliberately preserved and repurposed. The focus is on sustainable revitalisation, resource conservation and the circular economy. The aim is to preserve the architectural identity of the site while enabling modern, flexible uses. The existing building will be complemented by new buildings along Stralauer Strasse.

The first construction phase will create a modern office, media and creative location with additional residential use. A total of 42 flats are planned, around a third of which will be barrier-free, as well as an additional penthouse floor and a restaurant area on the ground floor. A newly designed inner courtyard will create a pleasant atmosphere and connect the different parts of the building.

The second construction phase comprises the renovation of the existing eastern building and the construction of a new office building along Stralauer Strasse and another office building on Waisenstrasse. Transparent façades, a lively base with restaurants and/or retail outlets, and green inner courtyards contribute to opening up and revitalising the neighbourhood.
