HQP - Havel Quartier Potsdam, a lively quarter with flats and offices, restaurants and retail outlets, has been created directly on the banks of the Havel in the centre of Potsdam, the capital of Brandenburg, based on the urban development concept of Christoph Kohl Stadtplaner Architekten GmbH from Berlin.
The site, which has long been derelict, is home to several listed warehouse buildings, including a granary designed by Schinkel's pupil Ludwig Persius (1835) and the so-called mill ensemble. As part of the urban development masterplan, the historic existing buildings were either renovated in line with their listed status or rebuilt in their cubic form and converted into residential buildings.

Six multi-storey residential buildings with semi-open courtyards complete the neighbourhood. TCHOBAN VOSS Architects were commissioned to design two six-storey buildings with underground car parks: House E - VUE with 53 freehold flats and House F - VIDU with 120 rental flats and restaurants on the ground floor.
