With six storeys and one staggered storey each, the new buildings take up the cubatures of the large-scale, block-like existing buildings in the neighbourhood. Five further upper storeys rest on a predominantly glazed base storey, which is crowned by a staggered storey. The glazing of the staggered storeys is much thicker on the AMANO Grand Central side, while the staggered storeys of the ibis hotel and the ROMY by AMANO are adorned with floor-to-ceiling slit windows.

Clinker bricks were used in an iridescent beige-grey colour palette to clad the external façades. They only differ from each other in a subtle way in terms of their structure. Clear and strictly gridded, a slight movement in the façade tectonics becomes clear at second glance, with the main accent falling on the design of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
