
While we usually think of a cinema building as a closed cube, i.e. a black box, this volume opens up all usage zones to the lively public space.



The generous glass bay windows fulfil the function of ‘urban terraces’ here. The building structure thus appears to be turned inside out.


In the dark, the striking, slightly projecting glass bay windows are illuminated in different colours.


Nine halls with a total of 2,400 seats are located on five main levels at the rear of the building. In contrast, the staircases, the escalator and the panoramic lift connecting them are located in the front section of the building, as are the foyer rooms on all floors.
