Living on Buekweg, 3.BA
Hamburg | 2014
Three new buildings with 34 residential units
The project lies in the Hamburg district of Ohlsdorf, hemmed in by the streets Buekweg and Böckelweg. The adjoining first stage was completed in 2011, the second in 2012. The surrounding builtup area presents a closed structure for residential use, primarily with three full storeys and unconverted attic. The 34 cooperative apartments consist of fourteen residential units with two rooms and 20 family apartments with 2½, 3, and 4 rooms.
All residential units in Building 1 are barrier free as defined in DIN 18025 Part 2. All three buildings are accessed from the inner courtyard and are connected to the services on the Buekweg side. Access to the underground garage (with 26 parking spaces) is over the Böeckelweg pavement. In the inner courtyard between the buildings, a garden is being planted with access to the buildings, bicycle racks, and small allotments for the tenants' private use. In the southwest part of the grounds at the Zwanckweg/Buekweg intersection, a private square is being laid out with large-crowned trees, seats, and an activity area for the residents. The ground floor apartments come with terraces for the residents' personal use.
