To mark its 200th birthday, the Architekten- und Ingenieurverein zu Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (AIV) and its partners are staging from the 5th September 2024 to the 30th November 2024 the exhibition and accompanying events ‘immer modern! Berlin and its streets. 200 years of architecture, urban planning and civil engineering for Berlin’. The patron of ‘immer modern!’ is the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner.

Berlin based, internationally renowned architectural firms have been invited to present their visions for the alternative design of Berlin's streets in eight districts. TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten together with ST raum a. will show their concept for Moellendorffstrasse in the Berlin district Lichtenberg.

The initiative will open on the 5th September with a symposium on the topic of ‘Great streets of today: how reconstruction can succeed!’ at the Kronprinzenpalais, Unter den Linden. The exhibition will also be officially opened on the evening of the 5th September with a ceremony in the garden of the Kronprinzenpalais.

Participation in the symposium and ceremony is free of charge for all interested parties.
