Re-use, sustainability and social and cultural integration are the three core themes of TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten, which Sergei Tchoban spoke about in his lecture ‘Toward a New City - Three Intentions’ to an international audience of experts in Singapore. The projects presented included revitalisation projects such as Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, Blissestrasse 5 or Sixty2 West and Sixty2 East for the ‘Re-Use’ theme complex. EDGE Suedkreuz Berlin and Strasse der Pariser Kommune 20 are examples of ‘green building’, while Pears Jewish Campus Berlin and the Festhalle for the Waldorf School in Magdeburg are examples of cultural and social integration.
