Square 1 is Berlin's new, forward-looking office campus in the science and technology centre of Berlin-Johannisthal. Berliner Sparkasse is using our project, completed in 2024 on behalf of Bauwert AG, as its new headquarters.
The first construction phase (B) is characterised by a white, metal façade, which is intended to convey a deliberately light impression with loggias, their greenery and the sequence of columns that becomes wider and wider towards the top.
The ensemble of buildings, connected by glass bridges, presents itself with green oases for recreation.
